E is for Early…

About two weeks ago Son needed to be dropped off for a school trip very early, it meant a 2 am wake up, for a 3.45 am drop off. Mr HC and myself were back home by 4.30 am, so as it was already getting light, we decided to take Dog out for a very early walk.

The earliest I normally get up is 6.30 am and I don’t go out for a walk before 9 am, so I’d never been out for a walk at this time of the morning before. The night before, it had rained heavily and the ground was still saturated, causing an atmospheric mist to hang in the air. As we walked, the sun was rising, adding colour to the sky.

I think the sheep thought we were a bit bonkers!!

These photographs were taken using Mr HC’s camera phone, hence the quality of a few of them.
